CUSTOM TOP TREATMENTS ADD STYLE TO YOUR WINDOWS

Top off your windows in style with custom top treatments from Ross Howard Designs in Dallas. From a traditional valance to an elegant swag, we can help you design the perfect top treatment. We offer a wide range of custom fabrics to choose from, and our highly qualified and professional designers will work with you to make the perfect selections. Custom top treatments from Ross Howard Designs can add color and softness to your rooms. You can use top treatments with other window coverings, such as blinds, shades, and sheers, or use them alone at the window. Available in a variety of shapes and fabrics, top treatments add shaping and style to windows, and can also conceal window treatment hardware too.

CUSTOM FABRIC OR WOOD CORNICES

Constructed from wood or foam core, cornices are a clean and simple top treatment that is painted, stained, upholstered, or wrapped with your favorite fabric or wallpaper. Cornices not only add refinement to your home but can also hide room imperfections or unsightly rods. Our experienced designers will help you select complementary trim and embellishment options to make your cornice one of a kind. Embellishments include decorative keystones, carved wood appliques, coordinating mantel and decorative shelves or add a decorative plate groove.

Top Treatments Used Alone or With Other Window Coverings

With a large fabric library that includes soft linens to sheers to contemporary patterns, custom fabric valances will enhance the decor of any room. The most popular valance styles are pleated, such as a box pleat, kick pleat or corner pleat. These valance designs are a simple yet beautiful way to finish off a plain window. Swags are also very popular and generally used in more formal spaces, often with drapes underneath. They can be mounted on a board or mounted on a pole and multiple swags can be used for larger windows. Tie top or tab top valances are a more casual option that can be mounted on a board or a decorative pole.
